After last year’s success, Plunet is extending an invitation to a second round: In four weeks, the Plunet Summit 2018 will take place in Berlin.
Just in time for the launch of the European General Data Protection Regulation, which comes into effect on the second day of the event – 25 May 2018, there is a session dedicated to the topic. Plunet will introduce the foundation pillars of the General Data Protection Regulation and provide an insight into how the software expert for translation management interprets and applies it.
Speed networking, not speed dating
However, the Plunet Summit 2018 will kick off for real with speed networking, whereby the approximately 150 Plunet customers and partners, together with the Plunet team, will be able to get to know one another and exchange views. The programme promises a rich variety of presentations and workshops as well as in-depth insights behind the scenes of the industry-specific platform solution for translations. One of the guiding themes is “Automation” – how can tasks be automated and thereby made faster and independent of time and place? Prepared templates, individual payment options and automated work processes are just three of the numerous possibilities. The most important requirement: openness of the users to change!
“Hidden features bingo” – who is familiar with the additional functions hidden in Plunet?
Many new functions which are intended to make life (at work) easier for users often remain undiscovered. Until now! This game of bingo will allow Plunet pros with expert knowledge to shine, and others to close the gaps in their knowledge. At the same time, there are many other events crammed full of user tips – on a feedback tool, for example, which provides translators with feedback on their translation tasks and thus the chance to constantly improve and develop. Further topics are intelligent budget planning and monitoring as well as the efficient management of freelance translators. The event will be rounded off with a Plunet party and a tombola with plenty of opportunities for networking.
