As of February 1, 2017, the Qualitätssprachendienste Deutschlands (QSD) association has one more member – EVS Translations is now a part of the network that represents the interests of medium-sized translation companies within the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies – EUATC for short.
QSD e.V. is a meeting place for all translation companies that would like to contribute to the professionalization of the translation industry.
At the same time, the association, founded in 1998, also supports the new generation of interpreters and translators, as well as communication between everyone involved in the translation process.
For companies requiring translations, the association serves as a decision-making aid when choosing a translation provider – it separates the wheat from the chaff, as translation service providers can only become members if they can show certified quality assurance systems in accordance with DIN ISO 9001 or DIN ISO 17100 or in compliance with QSD guidelines.
Additionally, the association assists translation companies in adopting such measures.
In an era of machine translations and sharing information digitally, advice on choosing a reputable language service provider is more in demand than ever.

On April 20 and 21, 2017, the 12th annual EUATC conference, T-UPDATE on Management & Sales, will take place in Berlin.
