Silhouette

Silhouette is just the right man for these times of austerity. Etienne de Silhouette was the French finance minister in 1759 who implemented economies across the board. His name was the in-word for doing something cheaply. This included the portrait in black – using no more than a piece of card and a pair of scissors.
