Christmas – every year, it’s a time to celebrate, catch up with loved ones and enjoy this time together. But, every year, we ask ourselves the same old question: What will we do for presents? Fortunately for EVS Translations, it doesn’t take long to come up with the answer because, as we have been doing for the past few years, we are again supporting the “Spende statt Geschenke für Unternehmen” (Donations instead of gifts for companies) campaign that is run by DKMS gemeinnützige GmbH. This enables us to contribute to the organisation’s vital mission of finding as many stem cell donors as possible to give leukaemia patients a second chance at life. Instead of Christmas gifts, we are donating the earmarked amount, thereby supporting DKMS in the fight against leukaemia!
Our relationship with DKMS got off to an emotional start in 2015 but it took a turn for the better – our colleague is now back working full time.
We also hope that our donation will inspire other companies and individuals to replace their chocolate and wine with more sustainable gifts, perhaps even giving patients a better chance of recovery.
We would like to thank all our customers for a great 2019 and we look forward to sharing a prosperous new year with you.
For EVS Translations, 2020 is set to be a very special year – in addition to specialist translation, we are increasingly incorporating digital language services into our portfolio. Alongside website translation with international search engine optimisation, the video localisation business continues to grow; be it multilingual training videos, image videos with transcription and subtitles or webinars with voiceover.
