Save the Date: GALA Conference 2018 from March 13 to 16 in Boston, Massachusetts

The annual GALA Language of Business Conference is being held in Boston this year, and it’s just a few weeks away.

This is an annual networking event for specialists from all over the globe to discuss the latest trends in the language industry. Before the official start of the event on Tuesday evening (March 13), there will be plenty of opportunities for visitors to meet and prepare for the two-and-a-half days that follow. The schedule offers something for everyone: interesting speakers from industry providers will talk about big data, localization for videos and voiceovers, websites and text, new business models, quality standards and technologies – to name just a few examples.

For EVS Translations as an international language services provider, the highlight will be the latest news in the area of translation and interpretation. As a translation provider, we are particularly interested in translation tools, efficient terminology management and platform solutions for translations into one or more languages, so that we can develop new solutions for our customers and their changing translation needs. This year, EVS Translations is being represented by Björn Prüfer, General Manager, and Elizabeth Bailey, Business Development Manager, EVS Translations USA from our Atlanta office. They will visit the trade show on March 14 and 15 and look forward to some fascinating discussions, including at the GALA Dinner.
