Data Security

Short supply chains and safe handling of sensitive information ensure maximum protection of your confidential data and files during all stages of the translation process.

How EVS Translations Protects Your Data

The security of your data is one of the top priorities at EVS Translations. Watch the video below to find out about the efforts we put into ensuring your data is secure.

German quality protects your translation projects

As crucial as data protection and security is for your business, it can prove to be a challenge for many companies: long supply chains, failure to comply with regulations, and decreasing customer confidence are just some of the complications that may arise in the process, and highlight just how important the careful selection of a language service provider is. EVS Translations works with companies from all over the world due to it being regulated under the GDPR, which ensures the safe handling of your information at all times. Cooperation with an ISO-certified data storage facility in Germany further ensures the protection of any highly sensitive information.

Exclusive access to designated translation projects creates individualized security

We understand that different translation needs require different security clearances, which is why our internal IT department can manage individual access to projects for every individual EVS Translations employee. This way we can ensure that your confidential translation documents are only seen and accessed by the exact translation specialists necessary to finish your project. Further, upon entry into our company, every employee is obliged to sign one or more NDAs, which establishes an additional level of data protection and security for our clients.

Security protocols as unique as our customers

“For a company operating in the technology sector, we arranged for e-mails to be exchanged via the client's secure e-mail portal. The following data transfer, meaning the remittance/transmission and delivery of translation orders, takes place via a VPN connection directly from the client’s server. The access was restricted to a clearly defined team of permanently employed in-house project managers, translation engineers and translators. Working closely with the client, prior to the translation process, our team was able to create a data security plan that satisfied all involved.”

- Jochen Bettgens, IT Manager at EVS Translations
