For over 25 years, EVS Translations has been providing high-quality interpreting services on a global scale, offering its clients - to only name Fortune 1000 OEMs and medical companies, corporate legal departments and legal institutions - local support in Europe, Asia and the United States.
The quality of the clients means EVS Translations attracts leading international interpreters to partner with its in-house team.
In-house teams of interpreters, project managers and interpreting equipment technicians in 8 interpreting centers around the world are accustomed to working on complex and demanding assignments, providing turn-key solutions for on-site simultaneous interpreting and consecutive interpreting, along with off-site phone- and video-remote interpreting (an instant web or mobile access to the latest videoconferencing technology and a pool of trained professional video interpreters.)
If you want an interpretation delivered as a speaker is talking, you will require a simultaneous interpreter. At conferences, simultaneous interpreters sit in special soundproof booths and provide immediate interpretation to the client via a headset.
A consecutive interpreter, however, provides a summary of what a speaker has said, either during pauses in a talk or at the end. Consecutive interpreting may be more suitable for small scale events.
EVS Translations specializes in providing interpreting solutions for complex assignments that require the assembly of multilingual interpreter teams and the set up and support of conference technology such as:
- Business meetings, inspections, and negotiations
- Cases, depositions and hearings at international courts
- Government assignments and delegations
- Conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions
- Press conferences and shareholder meetings
Organizing a complex interpreting event not only requires top-notch interpreters but also specialist technicians, experienced project managers and the right equipment. EVS Translations operates global interpreting centers and can therefore provide local project management and technical support for your event at a competitive rate.
From the interpreting hub nearest to you, our project managers will discuss your interpreting event requirements in detail to determine the type of interpreting technique and the number of interpreters you need, the subject specialism and whether reference materials can be made available to the interpreter for preparation, and the appropriate technical equipment. And our technicians will inspect the venue, set up the equipment and provide full technical support throughout your event.
EVS Translations is one of the few international translation companies that has all of its global locations awarded both the DIN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN ISO 17100:2015 certifications (aimed specifically at translation service providers).
Interpreters at EVS are contractually bound to confidentiality and insider information agreements. If your assignment requires an extra level of precaution, we can provide an interpreter with the appropriate security clearance for your project.
We look forward to speaking with you personally about your interpreting requirements.

On the face of it, there’s nothing really new about translation. It’s always been conveying a thought or idea from one language into another. The differences, however, have been in the medium of communication. For written translation, no matter if it is an ancient manuscript, a book [...]
